Terms of Service

1. Who this agreement is with

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of RheoVentures (the "Service"), a trading journal product operated under the trading name RheoVentures ("we", "us", "our"). RheoVentures is not currently operated through a registered company; these Terms apply equally regardless of that status and will continue to apply if and when RheoVentures is incorporated. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

2. What the Service is

RheoVentures lets you log, organise, and review your own trading activity: entries, exits, position sizing, notes, and related statistics that you choose to record. You may optionally generate read-only links to share selected data with others.

RheoVentures is a personal record-keeping and analytics tool. It does not place trades, manage funds, or connect to your brokerage or exchange accounts. Nothing in the Service constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice, and no content generated by the Service should be treated as a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any asset. You are solely responsible for your own trading decisions.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for keeping your login access secure. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You're responsible for all activity that happens under your account.

4. Subscription, billing, and cancellation

Access to the Service is billed on a recurring monthly subscription at the price shown at checkout (currently £9.99/month), processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your card details.

Your subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel.
You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you retain access until then.
Payments are non-refundable. We don't provide refunds or credits for partial billing periods, unused time, or a decision to stop using the Service, except where required by law.
We may change subscription pricing going forward; we'll give you reasonable notice before a price change takes effect for your next billing cycle.

5. Your data and content

You own the trade data and content you enter into RheoVentures. You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display that data solely to provide and improve the Service. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your data.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service — including attempting to disrupt it, access accounts that aren't yours, or use it to store or share unlawful content. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

7. Service availability

We aim to keep RheoVentures available and reliable but don't guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RheoVentures is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the Service, including trading losses resulting from decisions you make using information logged in the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Effective" date above and, where practical, notify you directly.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
